Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer with solid experience in designing, implementing, and managing data in Snowflake, to join an agile and high-performing team with excellent professionals and culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering Business Intelligence and/or Business Analytics solutions.
  • Proficient in Snowflake.
  • Solid experience in Monte Carlo.
  • Solid experience with SQL, DBT (Data Build Tool), Airflow, Python, Git, Data integration, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Jira, Docker, Alation Data Catalog.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

We value

  • Experience in data analysis and visualization tools: Power BI, Pentaho, QlikSense, and Superset, among others.
  • Experience in creating data warehouses in the cloud.
  • Knowledge/certifications in AWS.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies and platforms.

Role responsibilities

  • As a Snowflake Data Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to map, analyze, design, develop, implement, and manage high-complexity solutions on Snowflake data platforms.
  • Implement security measures to ensure data confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively and directly with client counterparts.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in requirements and scheduled developments.
  • Actively collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure project success and alignment with the planned objectives.
  • Stay technically updated by regularly training and adopting best practices to perform activities and collaborate on the creation of training plans for the team.

Office Hours

Full time availability from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (We offer flextime).
